Techxtend, the security and digital services company of Eatontown, sponsored the meeting on the subject of local government security. Techxtend VP Kevin Askew introduced Jim Reilly to explain the capabilities of Bosch USA, a Techxtend partner.
Bosch’s Jim Reilly discussed Bosch’s high-definition video surveillance systems that enable detailed views of streets, parking lots, and public areas. Security personnel can zoom in to see a detail on a separate area of the screen without loosing the wider view. The system allows automatic tracking of individuals. Smart technology recognizes certain types of activity – someone climbing a fence or objects placed and left behind, for example – and issues an alert.
Reilly described a Bosch system was able to curb a crime and disorderly behavior problem in an upstate New York town.
