Mayor Curtis welcomed everyone to the meeting. He thanked our hosting guests, Dr. Teri Kubiel, Deanna Sperling and Dr. Didario.
Mayor Curtis called upon Association Treasurer Mayor Emeritus Boyle to present the finance report.
The President Mayor Curtis then called upon the Association Vice President Mayor Marshall to introduce our first guest speaker Deanna Sperling, President and CEO of the Barnabas Health Behavioral Health.
RWJBarnabas Health Behavioral Health was happy to host the December Ocean County Mayors’ Association meeting at our location in Toms River.
Deanna provided an overview of the service line and services offered. Deana then introduced Dr. Didario, Chief Medical Officer of the RWJBH Behavioral Health Service Line
Dr. Didario provided a broad range of care and support for conditions affecting mental wellness, substance use and daily behaviors that impact overall wellbeing. These services included prevention, diagnosis and treatment of mental illness, substance use disorders and stressful life events.
