New Jersey Div. of Local Government Services
Tim Cunninghan was kind enough to pay the Mayors a second visit. The Director of New Jersey’s Division of Local Government Services was with us last February. Now as then, he brought us up to date on what’s happening at the Division. On Sandy recovery, Tim said there were ongoing discussions about a possible 4th round of Central Service Grants, but that dealing with HUD (the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development) wasn’t easy. He also urged the Mayors to be sure they submit the financial disclosure documents required by the state.
Stan Hales
Program Director
Barnegat Bay Partnership
Stan frequently attends the Mayors’ meetings. This time around, he offered a brief update on the Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan for the Barnegat Bay. There was both good news and bad news, Stan said. The bottom line: much work to be done.
